Dr. Asa Lincoln (28 Jun 1782 - 7 Jul 1854)

Asa came to Brimfield, MA, as a young doctor, where he achieved note for his handling of a spotted fever epidemic.  Marrying into the still socially prominent Danielson family could only have helped his position.  He and his wife Sarah lived in the Danielson's hilltop home.  According to Brimfield vital records, he died "of Starvation by reason of Insanity".
